Dow Chemical Account Manager - Dow Automotive in India, India

The Dow Chemical Company is looking for aAccount Manager Dow Automotive (m/f)to be located inMumbai- Kalwa.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the Key accounts for Dow Automotive Business for West and South India.

  • Possess good Key account management skills and have Business Development acumen

  • Produces appropriate sales forecasts and is able to capitalize on/ compensate for market changes.

  • Achieves sales goals and objectives in assigned territory as derived by business strategies and marketing plans.

  • Possesses knowledge of Adhesives, Sealants, Foams, Brake Fluids and targeted applications like Bonding, Sealing, NVH applications in Automotive.

  • Able to use analytical tools, do Value analysis and possess key skills to promote Technical solutions for Automotive Industry

  • Shares business and Industry/Market intelligence with Dow counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service, etc) to promote increased revenue and value

Required Qualifications:

  • An overall experience of 12 -15 years with minimum of 8 years of Automotive Industry experience, preferably with products like Adhesives, Sealants, Fluids and Foams

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales responsibility managing a region/geography. Having key contacts in the Automotive OEM’s and their Tiers is an advantage

  • Experience in B2B preferred, Channel Management would be an advantage

  • Technology understanding related to Automotive applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Master in Engineering Degree (16 years) and MBA would be an advantage

  • Discipline: Chemical Engineer, Chemistry, Polymer, Marketing or Business Administration
