Dow Chemical Quality Technician in Japan, Japan

The Dow Chemical Company has an exciting opportunity for right individual to fill the role of Fab Quality Technician located in Niigata, Japan. The Fab Quality Technician, as a member of the Lithography business of M&E organization. T his role will use lithography process knowledge, and Fab operations experience to identify, develop and implement optimum lithography technology in support of product performance.

Performs basic routine analyses of lithography process.

Provide analytical data to produce and release products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow EH&S and Operating Discipline / Quality System procedures and practices.

  • Perform basic routine analyses. Operates and checks FAB/Metrology process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems. Using existing tools, evaluate validity of data, apply basic statistics, compare to specified limits and take appropriate action. Using relevant tools, evaluate validity of data, apply statistics, interpret results and take appropriate action. Understands and applies skills and knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology to improve quality. Evaluate and implement new/improved Fab/Metrology systems. Uses trouble shooting skills to resolve process related deviations and problems. Uses process knowledge and skills to make improvements in FAB/Metrology performance.
