The candidate needs to be a thought leader with experience in all aspects of information security including infrastructure, application, cloud, identity management, IT-OT convergence and knowledgeable with new and emerging technology trends. The successful candidate will function as a member and change agent of the Enterprise Architecture team and provide expertise & drive security architecture across the corporation, providing technical expertise to mitigate risks affecting the integrity, confidentiality and availability of Dow’s electronic information assets.
Working in close partnership with ICRM, the primary stakeholder, this role collaborates with a wide breadth of internal corporate individuals, including executive management, business leaders, functional leaders including R&D, Manufacturing and technology teams as well as fosters relationships with external organizations including Dow’s strategic suppliers, the American Chemistry Council and federal organizations.

Enterprise Security Architecture strategy, principles, models, designs and standards.
Internal Dow Security and Cybersecurity Lifecycle Management processes and technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities: *
Understanding Dow Corporate, Functional and Business Strategies, the external IT Industry Trends and interpreting these to help ICRM define Dow’s overall IS Security Strategy and support our Digitalization aspirations
Evolve Corporate IS security strategy across the enterprise to mitigate cyber risks to the integrity, confidentiality and availability of Dow’s electronic information assets.
Provide leadership in ensuring the security direction is clearly understood through the creation of statements of directions, reference architectures, TOGAF deliverables / artifacts & working with LAS/AS community to govern its implementation and adherence to standards
Collaborate internally & externally by establishing key vendor relationships, and driving future state security landscapes and investments strategies for the corporation.
Perform economic analyses for proposed solutions
Work closely with ICRM, Business, Enterprise, and Security Technical Leads to understand current security challenges and govern future state deployments on projects.
Monitor and analyze new market developments for potential applicability to Dow business needs.
Competencies / Critical Success Factors: *
Strong Security Domain knowledge, with experience in developing, implementing and maintaining security architecture across platforms, applications, networks including new digital technology trends such as, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, Internet of Things, Contemporary Cloud architectures, “modern” application development capabilities, Manufacturing Cyber security, etc.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work with multiple layers in the organization. Ability to present business cases to senior leaders.
Proven ability to collaborate and navigate in a global multinational environment. Ability to build and foster relationships across ICRM, Businesses, Functions, Enterprise Architects. Business Process Leaders and the IS organization at large.
Effective partnership, culturally savvy, negotiation capabilities, and influencing skills with the ability to work the organization to make decisions. Establishes high level of trust with the partners.
Business process development and implementation techniques with proven technical capabilities in developing and implementing security IT solutions.
Strategic planning, scenario analysis and proven alternative analysis and communications skills.
Strong aptitude for and experience in issue resolution and decision making
Required Qualifications: *
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Security, or related fields
10 years in IT related projects with focus on security aspects across multiple platforms
Familiarity with commercial software solutions technology, vendors and security solution offerings.
Technical expertise in security systems including access control, firewall, proxy devices, intrusion detection, security event and information management and vulnerability assessment capabilities
Excellent oral and written skills, including the ability to collaborate with industry peers and service providers.
Broad knowledge of current industry security standards and security frameworks.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Expertise in risk management and network related security controls.
Experience with Incident Response methodologies including threat mitigation and forensics
