Dow Chemical Senior Engineer in Shanghai, China
This job provides the timely and rapid technical support for ultra-filtration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO) and ion exchange resin (IER) in Dow China.
The primary responsibilities include:
Providing the proposal of UF, RO and ion exchange resin based on DOW propriety software and technical manual.
Implementation of the on-site troubleshooting of UF, RO and IER system independently.
Implementation of the effective technical communication with engineering companies, consultants and end users.
External product promotion presentations and technical paper publication to enhance business growth.
Leading new application development in coordination with global/region R&D and marketing team.
Assisting global/regional R&D and marketing team in new product shaping and development
Master Degree of chemical engineering, environment engineering or power station chemistry etc. It is also necessary for bachelor applicant to have 3 years of experience related to water treatment.
3 years of experience in membrane technologies (including Ultra-filtration, Reverse Osmosis and Nano-filtration) or water industry is desired
It is preferred to have solid background on academic research with good publication.
Fluent in English with good written and spoken skills.
Good presentation skills in conference, workshop, exhibition and seminar.
Available for relatively frequent short-term business trip.
Motivated, independent and responsible person with teamwork spirit is preferred.
